Our MissionRemember the old days... Surf all day 'till you were "paddled out", had rubber arms or whatever you called it. That feeling you get after a great day in the water where you just can't do it any more. Even though the waves may still be pumping, you just don't have enough left to go out one more time. Those are the days we at Classic Surf Gear remember. Our mission is to bring you the classic products that we remember from the good old days. Of course, we are still surfing - and we won't ignore newer products that advance the sport while keeping true to the good old days. For example, you wouldn't want to go back to wearing a diver's two piece wet suit. Remember, the quarter inch thick ones with the platypus bill flap that came up between your legs and fastened in the front with two twist connectors? Why wear that when you can have variable thickness custom suits with seam tape? But do you remember the Weber Pig? One of the early short boards designed with a shape that really worked and still will. Or a nice fitting pair of Birdwell Beach Britches? Come out of the water and the surfnyl is dry in five minutes! How about some shirts with the original rectangular Gordon & Smith logo? These things will never go out of style. This is the place for that memorable gear.
